Good evening to all , today afternoon i sent some photos of my new project , Iveco Stralis 500 ,based Eligor, I stretched the frame, rebuilt the suspension, added accessories like the system to ad-blue ,unfortunately is not easy to cut the iron frame.

Your conversion looks good. I think, the cab is also die cast? And what scale is it? It looks bigger than 1/24. (Sorry, I don't know Eligor models). Did You made the first rear axle stearable or was that original at the model?

perfect work, I can imagine the effort for working with metal parts, but I'm sure, you'll manage this.

Looking good, I guess this one will we finished before Italeri shows it's model ;o)
I'm also planning to convert the Eligor Stralis into a push axle set up but I measured at the real truck a wheelbase from frontaxle to the driven axle exactly like the Eligor model is so fortunately I don't have to stretch the diecast chassis. Must be a terrible job to do.
Martin: the cab is also diecast, interior is plastic and the configuration is 4x2. Although some mistakes of Eligor you can make a nice model of this Eligor.
A year ago you could buy these trucks in France at about 15 Euro's a piece at Superdiscount!
